Snow forest

Here's my design for this week's colour collective. I'm trying to use different colour palettes in my illustrations but it's difficult to break old habits! I'll try to keep on working on that. Have a nice weekend :)

Happy Friday everyone! It's colour collective time and this week's colour is Orange and it inspired me to create this colourful piece :)

Rabbit in the snow

White rabbits everyone (that's what you say at the beginning of the month in England, I've been told)! It's funny that in many countries with seasons September marks the start of autumn but here in HK, we only have 2 seasons: extremely hot and a little bit chilly. Even though many shops are selling coats, scarfs,  boots, etc the temperature here will be around 30 degrees until December. I miss having snow, even if only for a little while (2 weeks of white thick snow would be perfect and then sunshine please). So that's my inspiration for this month's Pinch Punch Post.

Here're some bunny sketches

O is for Orca

Continuing with my animal alphabet, here's O for Orca. Did you know that orcas aren't whales but dolphins?

Cat sleeping

I've been very busy this week working in my MATS home decor class plus a book that I only had time to do this lil cat for colour collective. I wish I could sleep like a cat, 15 -20 hours per day... Have a nice weekend :)

G is for...

Is for guinea pig, a glamorous guinea pig :) I wonder how guinea pigs are like pets, are they nice? Do they have personality? Do they make noises?

A is for ....

Another fun twitter challenge I'm taking part in. The challenge is called animal alphabets and this is the first animal: an aardvark - I didn't know this animal existed, I had to google it! and sadly I can't pronounce its name :(

Panda hug

Have you heard about #AnimalSweaterSunday? Well, people draw animals wearing sweaters on Sundays. I've been meaning to participate for ages but I always remember on Mondays :( hehehe so here's my first submission. I'll try to remember it for next Sunday :)

Hello there, sorry for the lack of posts, I'm trying to rethink what I should blog about... in the meantime, here's a banner I designed for my lovely agent's website >>>here<<< - there're a few other banners from other artists as well rotating randomly there :) I hope you like ice-cream as much as I do!

Colour collective - Tangerine

Here's my colour collective piece for this week. I wanted to do a something a little more challenging - with a few more characters than usual - and I also wanted to have some storytelling, which I find difficult but I know it's all about practice :)

Close ups

Sheep in glasses

Here's a little sheep reading something - very interesting I'd say for the look on here face -. I was like that until a couple of days ago because I was reading the Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. What a great book! it got me reading non stop and transported me to New York and Amsterdam, I really recommended  it :) It was gripping and exciting until the end.
