Kindness advent week 1 roundup

This week I'm very happy because mi Kindness Christmas advent has been featured on Print and Pattern (click on the image to go to the blog). Another cute animal for today's advent... well, for me all animals are cute (even if they sometimes have rabies) specially if they're fluffy and have little tiny human-like hands :)

Long pins for Pinterest - tips

For a long time I've heard about the popularity of long pins for Pinterest so I decided to group in long pins some illustrations I've done over the last months. Here're the first 2 pins with the fairy tale illustrations I've been doing. In case you're interested, the measurement that you have to take into account when creating the pin is 328 PX wide and it can be as long as you want. I wrote the topic of the illustrations at the top together with my website so people can find my designs.

I can't stop thinking about bears so here's another one for colour collective :) ... and I just discovered that some horses have spots, like cows! 

New painting challenge

I've decided to start my own painting challenge with the hashtag #10daysofacrylics. I know there're lots of challenges out there but I'm not strong enough to do something for more than 10 days, let alone 365! I'm dusting off my acrylic paints and experimenting with colours and textures. So far the end results have been a little unexpected but in a fun way. Snow forest

Here's my design for this week's colour collective. I'm trying to use different colour palettes in my illustrations but it's difficult to break old habits! I'll try to keep on working on that. Have a nice weekend :)

Hot air balloons

Happy Friday everyone! It's colour collective time and this week's colour is Orange and it inspired me to create this colourful piece :)  

Rabbit in the snow

White rabbits everyone (that's what you say at the beginning of the month in England, I've been told)! It's funny that in many countries with seasons September marks the start of autumn but here in HK, we only have 2 seasons: extremely hot and a little bit chilly. Even though many shops are selling coats, scarfs,  boots, etc the temperature here will be around 30 degrees until December. I miss having snow, even if only for a little while (2 weeks of white thick snow would be perfect and then sunshine please). So that's my inspiration for this month's Pinch Punch Post.
