Elephants

Hello, sorry for my absence but I was away visiting these handsome guys in Thailand. They're gigantic!!! I was very scared to touch them but I did - it feels like a hairy faux leather couch- and I also fed them watermelon. If you ever go to Thailand you can visit this sanctuary http://www.elephantnaturepark.org/ where they take care of rescued elephants, dogs, cows and cats.

Japan

For the easter break I went to Japan. I chose to go in april hoping to see the cherry blossom. I was told by many friends that I was going to miss it because it usually happens at the beginning of the month, so I didn't have high expectations about seeing the trees but nonetheless was very excited about seeing all the kawaii things! 

Here's a collection of pictures showing some of the beautiful and cute things I saw, including some cherry trees in full blossom and of course animals - I went to both cat and bunny cafés-. 

I highly recommend visiting Japan even if only once. I have already added it to my list of favourite places and I hope to return in the near future.
