Vlog - A week in the life of a freelance illustrator

It's been a while since I did a video so I though it'd be fun to put together a video showing you what I do in a week. It's a collection of small things I did during the week because I think it'd be boring to show you all the times I'm sitting at my desk drawing (which is most of the time, tbh). I hope you enjoy it!

I'm thinking about doing more videos soon but the next one will have to wait a little bit because today I'm off to the Bologna Book Fair. I'll be showing snippets of what's going on there on my Instagram.

Christmas Advent 8

It's Thursday so that means that I have a new video on my YouTube channel. Today's topic is Suggested books for creatives. Here's also my Advent for today :)

You can watch the video below. I added english subtitles because I realised that in some parts of the video I mumble a little bit - Sorry about that guys, but making this videos is out of my comfort zone and I get a little nervous every time I start shooting. I'd love to hear what are your favourite creative books! Please tell me in the comments here or in YouTube.

It's this time of the year again! Counting towards Christmas with an illustrated advent calendar is my favourite project of the year. I'm going to be posting an image everyday until Christmas Day.

I also have a new video talking about my creative process and some tips to design the Christmas Advent. As always, I hope you feel inspired to create your own designs. Please subscribe to my channel and if you have any questions about illustration or Christmas advents or anything creative just let me know in the comments below or through any social media channel. Happy start of the holidays!!!

Lettering for Christmas cards - new video

Hi everyone - like every Thursday, today I have a new video on my YouTube channel. In this video I'm going to show you how I created the lettering for the Christmas cards I designed this year to send to my friends and family.

Until a few years ago, I'd never even considered buying Christmas cards because that's not traditional in my home country. When I was little I'd help my mum to make birthday cards using white ink on tracing paper, but we never had Christmas cards.

Christmas has always been my favourite holiday of the year, so now that I'm a designer I enjoy the process of creating cards for my loved ones. I've also grown to love going to the post office and I think that in this era of virtual things, it's very personal to handwrite a note or a message on a card that I designed.

I hope you enjoy the video! And please subscribe to my channel :)

These are the cards I designed!
