More flowers and birds for today's advent. I never feel tired of drawing them because in nature there're so many different kinds of them that it's easy to feel very inspired. I dream of having a garden in my house but that's not likely to happen in HK - not with our tiny flats and super hot weather. I'm glad that we have so many small public gardens in the city that are well cared for all year round.

It's Thursday so that means that I have a new video on my YouTube channel. Today's topic is Suggested books for creatives. Here's also my Advent for today :)

I added english subtitles because I realised that in some parts of the video I mumble a little bit - Sorry about that guys, but making this videos is out of my comfort zone and I get a little nervous every time I start shooting. Christmas Advent 7

I'm so excited to share with you my shiny and sparkly re-vamped website and blog! I've been working on this for quite a while and I must confess that I shed a few tears during the process but I'm  so pleased with the final design. I hope you like it as much as I do.

In other news today, the 7th of December is the day of the "little candles" or in Spanish Día de las Velitas, in my home country, Colombia. People will light up colourful candles in front of their houses and the neighbourhoods will look very atmospheric. That's something I really miss so, it's my tradition to illustrate a candle on this day. If you want to see pictures of the celebration, click on the Bear.

It's Monday but I'm already tired :( I think it's because it's almost the end of the year and because the days are getting shorter and shorter. I'm really looking forward to the Christmas Holidays.

Today I spent 3 hours making tiny little hats for babies in Nepal. I think that's a nice way to put to use some random skill my mum taught me when I was little. Here're some birds for today's advent :)

It's this time of the year again! Counting towards Christmas with an illustrated advent calendar is my favourite project of the year. I'm going to be posting an image everyday until Christmas Day.
