Onesie or cape?

I did these cats for #doodleadaysep. The word was red. 

I love it when I see cats wearing outfits, although I know they might not be very happy about wearing them. I recently bought a pink dress for my cat. She looks adorable but I can see the discomfort in her eyes, so I only make her wear it for a little bit. I want to find a lion's mane, a shark and a dinosaur outfit for her - just to take pics!-

Doodle - Tree

I've been doing some doodles for the #doodleadaysep challenge. I'm just going to post some of them because sometimes I don't like the result very much. I'm trying to experiment with techniques and materials as much as I can :) Here's a little happy fox with a stars' tree. I'm hoping to make this one into a collection. I'll try to do it soon because I haven't done any patterns in a while

Au Revoir

When you're an expat like myself you get to know wonderful people all the time, but as they are in the same situation as you they come and go. Soon one of my friends would be going back to England for good, which is sad for me but I'm happy for her anyway. Hope she enjoys having all the wonderful shops there are over there - such as Primark, Dorothy Perkins- which we don't have here in HK.

Yesterday I saw a very small dog carrying the groceries in a shopping cart attached to its body. Sooo cute! I wonder if I could train my cat to do the same - I highly doubt it!-

Shanghai Dog

While we where in Shanghai we saw a cute little dog with orange dyed ears and shoes. I couldn't help but to take a picture and to make an illustration. Here in HK it's very normal to see dogs with shoes or on pushchairs but I hadn't seen a dog with dyed fur.

Teacup cat

I read a news article about a teacup pig that grew up to 25 stone! So I thought about a totally opposite scenario with a tiny cat fitting in a teacup.  I always have sketches that I'd like to develop a little more but I don't always find the time to do it. I should do it more often as it is really fun to let my mind wander and imagine funny scenarios.

Bunny building

I just came back from Shanghai and the first thing I noticed when we got to our hotel was this building with a bunny shape. Have you ever been to Shanghai? There're so many interesting things to discover and see.

Illustration Friday- Hidden

I'm really enjoying using "real" materials for my illustrations, I'm learning a lot . I'm having a good relationship with paint and markers and a little more challenging one with watercolours. I'll keep trying though!
