We're been having wonderful weather here in Hong Kong so I decided to do something I've been thinking about for a long time which was to take some monkeys I bought in Thailand to the beach.
They were very happy because they haven't been to the beach before and even though they're very small they weren't scared of the sand or the sea.
We bought these monkeys in a Gibbon Rehabilitation Project in Phuket, Thailand. They're doing a very nice job of Rescuing, Rehabilitating and Reintroducing Gibbons into the wild. Gibbons were almost made extinct by poachers in Phuket, but now they're being care for by the GRP.
If you ever go to Thailand please don't have your pictures taken with Gibbons or any other wild animals. Remember that poachers have killed their mothers and have destroyed their families. Let's enjoy the animals in their natural habitat doing whatever monkeys, elephants, dolphins do and not dancing or wearing clothes or make up.
I will probably never get to Thailand, but I appreciate your post about being kind to animals. People have the responsibility to consider the welfare of these other creatures.
