Having and Ice-cream

I've been having fun imagining what the cat and the bear would be doing and how they'd be enjoying their friendship. Here they are sharing and ice-cream at the park...

Here's another adventure by the cat and the bear. They're jumping around the jungle and having lots of fun. I spent a lot of time figuring out the background for this illo, and even though looks a bit simple it took me ages! Doing backgrounds is difficult, but I must keep trying. Have a nice weekend :)

The Bear and the Cat

I've been reading a book called "unlikely friendships" about animals from different species that become friends. One of the stories is about a cat and a bear in a German zoo who have been friends for over 10 years. I think that's a very nice story, and it has inspired me to do some illustrations. This is the first in a small series, that I'll be doing over the next few days - or weeks maybe?-. They're called Muschi the cat and Mausschen the bear, in case you want to check their story.
