Swimming

I haven't done a piece for colour collective for ages... I was starting to feel left out, until today!
I finally had some time in my hands to do something for this awesome challenge. As always, you can check all the art submitted from around the world with the hashtag #colour_collective either on facebook or twitter. Have a nice weekend :)

Recently this has been a popular hashtag on twitter, so I wanted to join the party too :)
I forgot to mention that I don't like hiking either!

Colour Collective - Lime Yellow

Here's another little fairy holding a smiling creature for the colour collective. I love lime yellow, specially if it's in an ice lolly! yummy.

Colour collective - Pale pink

I really want spring to be here - and the sunshine-, I'm tired of the greyness and coldness of the winter.

Here's Little Bo Peep looking for her sheep who are hiding behind the tree. I'm really enjoying illustrating nursery rhymes :)

Colour collective - Flame red

A little bit late but here my illustration for the colour collective challenge. This week's colour was red flame, which I think is a very nice colour.

Colour collective - Brilliant violet

This week I decided to dust off my watercolours and once again give them a try. I've tried on other occasions to use them but became quickly frustrated by their unpredictability and by my lack of skill when using them. I remember that when I was at university I was taught all the different techniques and stuff, and I think that I did some nice paintings but after graduating I forgot everything I learnt :(
It didn't go too bad this time -I think!-

Colour collective - Ultramarine

Someone in twitter had the fantastic idea of creating the colour collective challenge. Last week's colour was ultramarine which as it happens is one of my favourite colours. I have lots of clothes that colour - are there ultramarine flowers?
