This cat wanted some new friends, so don't worry, he's not planing on eating the chicks. Besides the hen is too busy to notice a new addition to the family :)

Happy Fishy Neighbourhood
This week I submitted a design for the spoonflower weekly challenge. This week's theme was: Great Barrier Reef. I'd really appreciate if you could vote for my design. Here's the link to vote http://www.spoonflower.com/contest_voters_temp/new?contest_id=231

Seal and Monkey
I've been having so much fun drawing in my iPad and I think the time lapse video feature of the app I use is very cool. Here you can see 2 drawings I did with the time lapse video.

Monkeys in London
I took my Thai monkeys (see previous pics of the Monkeys HERE) to England over the winter holidays. They enjoyed the little sunshine we had but weren't fans of the cold.
This one seems to be hugging himself to keep warm.
And here are the 3 of them swinging by their tails from a tree in Richmond, London.
The last picture is from the South Bank in London, you can see St Paul's Cathedral behind them.

Year of the horse
So at the end of January it's going to be the lunar new year and it's going to be the year of the horse according to the Chinese zodiac. I like this of having animals to represent years but I think the current list of animals is missing some animals such as cat, sloth, lemur, etc. In any case, here's my horse with lots of red for good fortune -according to the Chinese -.

Cats in circles
Here's another drawing I did with my iPad. The app I used for this one is called brushes3 and the cool thing about it, is that it creates a time-lapse video of the process of drawing the illustration. Unfortunately I don't know how to export the video, does any body knows how to do it?

The cow and the pig
This 2014 has been so far grey, we had 2 sunny days in HK and then grey and cold. I'm wishing the weather to improve soon so that we can go back to the beach/pool and relax like this 2 friends.
I did this drawing in my iPad and stylus. I find that I don't have as much control in the iPad as with pens and pencils (that's why my cow looks a little different from my previous drawing) but I like to have infinite colour options and the undo option! but to be honest I prefer to get my hands dirty and use real materials.
Anyway, I hope you can feel some warm from this drawing :)

Illustration Friday - Time
I had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday in England and now I'm back to my drawings. This is my first drawing of 2014, and for this I used one of the presents I got for my birthday - lots of colour pencils!
The weather in England is not very nice - lots of rain and cold- so it's always nice to have one or more cups of tea everyday. My favourite kind of tea is earl grey, what's your favourite kind of tea?
NB- I have a really crapy scanner and that's why the colouring of the piggy looks so strange :( I don't know how to fix that nor in photoshop nor with the scanner. Oh well, never mind
